Terms of Use
Last updated 6 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Meetwell (the “Service”), operated from the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them. Meetwell is currently in private beta; features may change and the Service may be unavailable at times.
1. Who can use Meetwell
You must be 18 or older, legally able to enter a contract, and not previously removed from Meetwell. One account per person. You must complete our verification step before you are shown to other members.
2. Your account and content
You are responsible for what you post. Photos must be of you, recent, and not include anyone under 18. You keep ownership of your content and give us a licence to display it to other members as part of the Service and to review it for safety. Do not post content that is unlawful, harassing, sexually explicit, misleading, or that impersonates someone else.
3. Community rules
- No harassment, hate, threats or stalking.
- No commercial solicitation, escorting, or asking members for money or financial details.
- No sharing another member's photos, messages or identity outside Meetwell without consent.
- Report behaviour that worries you. We investigate reports and may pause or remove accounts without notice.
4. Free service and future paid features
Matching, messaging and the Date Planner are free. If we introduce optional paid features in the future, their price and terms will be shown before you buy, and the core Service will remain free.
5. Safety
Meetwell verifies that members are real people but cannot guarantee anyone's identity, intentions or behaviour. Meet in public, tell a friend, and read our Safety guide. Our optional safety check-in is a convenience, not an emergency service — in an emergency call 000.
6. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile; your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end accounts that breach these terms.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law, the Service is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it or your interactions with other members. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under Australian law that cannot be excluded.
8. Changes and contact
We will tell you about material changes to these terms by email or in the app. Questions: hello@meetwell.io. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
